Certified paint protection film installed at our Sea Girt studio. A clear, self-healing layer that takes the rock chips, road salt, and bug acid your paint shouldn’t have to, backed by a real manufacturer warranty.
Paint protection film, often called a clear bra, is a transparent layer applied over your car’s paint. You can’t see it once it’s on, but it’s doing real work every time you drive.
Rock chips, road salt, sand, bug splatter, bird droppings, all of it hits the film instead of your paint. And because the film is self-healing, light scratches and swirls disappear on their own with heat from the sun or warm water.
Think of it as a barrier between your paint and everything the road throws at it. When you eventually sell the car, the paint underneath still looks like it did the day you bought it.

Between highway debris, winter salt, and sand off the shore, NJ roads do real damage to paint. Professional PPF from Daylan’s Detailing puts a stop to it.
The #1 reason drivers install PPF. Stones, gravel, and road debris that would chip your bumper, hood, or fenders bounce off the film instead.
Door dings in parking lots, accidental scrapes, brushes against branches. Self-healing film absorbs and recovers from minor scratches.
Bug splatter and sap can permanently etch into clear coat in hours. PPF gives you days to remove it without damage.
NJ winters are brutal on paint. PPF blocks salt, brine, and chemical de-icers from touching your clear coat.
Built-in UV inhibitors prevent the paint underneath from fading or oxidizing. Your factory color stays factory color.
Hydrophobic top coat repels water, dirt, and contaminants. Water beads off, and what doesn't bead wipes away clean.

If you drive it, yes. Rock chips, road salt, bug acid, and bird droppings all do permanent damage to paint over time. PPF takes those hits instead, which keeps your finish clean and protects what the car is worth when you sell it.
Most quality films last 5 to 10 years depending on the film and how the car is driven and cared for. Top tier films carry a 10 year manufacturer warranty. Regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals will get you the most out of it.
It depends on your vehicle and how much coverage you want. Front end only costs less than full vehicle, and a compact car costs less than a full size SUV. We’ve wrapped everything from Teslas and BMWs to Porsches, Corvettes, and Lamborghinis. Give us a call and we’ll quote your exact vehicle.
No, not when it’s installed and removed properly. Quality film is made to come off clean without touching your clear coat. The horror stories you hear come from cheap film and untrained installers, which is exactly why authorized dealers exist.
Barely. From a few feet away you won’t see it at all. Get up close and you can spot the edges where a panel ends, but on a proper install those edges are tucked into existing seams wherever possible.
Give it at least 7 days to fully cure. After that, hand wash only for the first month, no automatic washes with brushes. We’ll send you a full aftercare guide when you pick up the car.
Use a pH balanced shampoo and a soft wash mitt, rinse well, and dry with a microfiber towel. Skip abrasive sponges and automatic washes with spinning brushes. That’s really it.
